MDJM Rest API Introduction
Since version 1.4, MDJM Event Management makes use of the WordPress REST API to include a complete restful API that enables data to be retrieved remotely by 3rd party applications or plugins via JSON.
The API includes methods for;
- Retrieving a single event’s information
- Retrieving information for multiple events unfiltered, or filtered by employee, client, date or status
- Retrieving information for a client
- Retrieving information for an employee
- Availability checking

These can be provisioned by an MDJM Admin user via the MDJM -> Tools option page.
Once you have enabled API access for your chosen user(s), you will need to provide them with the Public Key and Token. These will be required with each and every API call the user makes.
The secret key is only used for internal authentication and should never be used directly to access the API.
Once the API key and token are issued, the user can authenticate with the REST API like follows;
